MBA in Singapore for Indian Students: Fees, Experience and Visas
Updated 27 October 2026
Singapore is a common choice for Indian MBA applicants who want an Asian business hub with strong links to India. Programmes are competitive and expect real work experience.
Entry expectations
- Work experience: schools set minimums; for example one university lists a minimum of 2 years of post-degree full-time experience (source: provider admissions page, accessed 27 Oct 2026). Average experience in a class is usually higher than the minimum.
- Tests: GMAT, GRE or Executive Assessment depending on the school and format.
- English: waivers are common if your degree was taught in English — confirm with each school.

Student's Pass and work
International full-time students need a Student's Pass from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority. Working after graduation requires a work pass under Ministry of Manpower rules, which set salary and other criteria that are updated regularly.
Masters vs MBA in Singapore
If you have little work experience, a specialised master's (finance, analytics, management) may be more realistic than an MBA. Compare entry requirements and outcomes.
