MBA in Dubai: Programmes, Costs and What to Check
Dubai has a large number of MBA providers: international branch campuses, locally licensed institutions, and multi-campus programmes that spend part of the year in the city. The range of quality is wide, so verification matters more than marketing.
Types of MBA provider in Dubai
- International branch campuses — the degree is awarded by the home university abroad.
- Locally licensed institutions — licensed and accredited through UAE authorities.
- Multi-campus programmes — study blocks in Dubai and one or more other cities.
- Part-time and executive formats — evening/weekend programmes for working residents.
What to verify
- Which institution awards the degree, and is that degree recognised by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research if you plan to use it there (for example for attestation)?
- Is the Dubai campus quality-assured locally? Check the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) site.
- Does the programme help with the student visa, and what does it cost?
- Do employers you target recruit from the programme?
