MBA in Dubai for Indian Students: Costs, Recognition and Jobs

Dubai is a short flight from most Indian cities and has a large Indian professional community, which makes an MBA there attractive. The key questions are degree recognition, total cost in rupees and your realistic job plan.
Five checks for Indian applicants
- Who awards the degree? A branch-campus degree is usually awarded by the home university.
- Recognition in India: if you may return, check how the degree is treated for jobs or further study in India (for example equivalence through the Association of Indian Universities).
- Recognition in the UAE: attestation and recognition rules for working in the UAE.
- Total cost in rupees, including housing and visa costs.
- Job search: ask how graduates actually get hired in the UAE, with employment data by sector.

Some Dubai MBAs run in daytime and evening formats. Evening and part-time programmes are typically designed for people already living and working in the UAE; a student-visa holder usually takes a full-time daytime programme. Confirm with the provider.
